Horror Club: Killer Klowns from Outer Space

Way back in 1988, the world was graced with one of the finest films of the decade when Killer Klowns from Outer Space was released in May of that year. The movie combines elements from horror, comedy and sci-fi, and blends it together to a perfect combination of cheese, action, laughs, and outrageous-ness. Written and directed by the Chiodo brothers, the film features some of the best special effects you'll see for its time; from the klowns to the inside of the space ship to the kills, Killer Klowns still holds up to this day as some of the best handmade effects you'll see on the big screen that isn't the CGI we are all so used to these days. Killer Klowns will forever be a cult classic, so

Traitors - Anger Issues

Florida's Traitors have earned themselves a fitting reputation as one of the best in the scene right now over the past few years. The hard work they've put into touring, writing, and releasing some of the most honest and raw music our generation has seen has made Traitors a well-known (and well deserved) name in the heavy music community. When they announced that they were disbanding, the music scene was shaken, and the lack of their presence was definitely felt across the board. Then back in August, Traitors announced they were back together and ready to take on the fucking world again, and from it, "Anger Issues" was born. The eight track album released last month is most definitely an acc

Horror Club - The Strangers: Prey At Night (Spoilers)

It's been ten long years since The Strangers debuted; a film that caught the attention of horror fans around the world with its concept of complete stranger-on-stranger violence and very unique ending that left audiences in shock. The Strangers finally got a chance to follow-up to the box-office hit with The Strangers: Prey At Night which was released in theaters this weekend. Soulless Cult hit our theater to see if the sequel is worth your time and money, and if the three masked killers do another sick job this time around! Directed by Johannes Roberts, The Strangers: Prey At Night follows the lives of your typical American family: a middle age husband and wife, and their two teenage kids.

Horror Club: Attack of the Killer Donuts

Our "hole" lives, we've been eating them: donuts. But now, it's them eating US! This week, the Soulless Horror Club is taking a look at the 2016 horror comedy Attack of the Killer Donuts! Directed by Scott Wheeler and written by Nathan Dalton, Chris De Christopher, and Rafael Diaz-Wagner, Attack of the Killer Donuts shows us what happens when you mix together a science experiment gone wrong and arguably the best junk food ever: the old fashioned donut! Welcome to Dandy Donuts - a small, hole-in-the-wall donut shop that, even by appearance alone, looks kinda sleazy. Johnny Wentworth (played by Justin Ray) and his coworker Michelle (played by Kayla Compton) are working the late shift at the do

Second Death - Substance

Out of the depths of Valdosta, GA comes SECOND DEATH - skull-shattering, knees-buckling brutality - who just released a brand new EP entitled "Substance" last week. Second Death's sound is all up in your shit, vicious and downright savage. Substance delivers five devastating new tracks to listeners, and its pretty undeniable that these songs - pieced together by five young dudes - are a prime example of what the aggressive music scene needs right now. Its hard hitting, and that doesn't let up until the second the album ends; "Release," the intro track to the EP, introduces you to the offering with a gnarly, bass-heavy breakdown that is the perfect hype that you need for what is about to foll

Cabal - Mark of Rot

"Mark of Rot," the brand new album by CABAL of Copenhagen, has been on my radar for a while now, and after hearing "False Light" back in January, I knew we were in for a treat. Their prior EP - "Purge" - totally blew me away when I first heard it, and I knew that "Mark of Rot" was going to exactly the same by the time "False Light" was only halfway over. The bands new ten track album was put out by Long Branch Records on February 23rd, and I have been struggling to shut it off since. The band have truly crafted a sound all of their own, and its a sound you have to hear to really know what I'm talking about. I really hate to try and put "Mark of Rot" into a box by labeling it, but if I had to
